Select a Theme

 Mom and Dad's 60th Wedding Anniversary, Dawn and Jason's Wedding, A Tribute to Grandpa George, Brittanie's Graduation, etc.

Pick a package

 Majestic, Royal, Supreme

Determine "chapters"

(available in the Royal and Supreme packages only)

- these are sections within the theme. For example, if the theme is Dawn and Jason's Wedding, the chapters may be

  • Dawn Growing Up

  • Jason Growing Up

  • Falling in Love

 

Select a song to be background music for each chapter

(Majestic package only has one song)

You can select the songs or we can choose some for you or offer suggestions.   Your music selections must be supplied to us on a CD which will be returned to you.
Select photos for each chapter We will need 1 photo for every 6 seconds.  So a three minute song should be accompanied by approximately 30 photos.  (You may also select newspaper clips)

You have two options for submitting your photos. Many clients prefer to scan their own photos. You can also send your physical photos to us to be scanned and we will scan for 20 cents each.

If you choose to scan your own photos........

  • Scan each photo and save it in JPG format. Save each picture with a 3-digit number indicating the order that you would like it to appear in the video.  Pictures for song # 1 will begin with 101.jpg, 102.jpg, 103.jpg, etc.   Pictures for song #2 will begin with 201.jpg, 202.jpg, 203.jpg, 204.jpg, etc.  Pictures for song #3 will begin with 301.jpg, 302.jpg, 303.jpg, 304.jpg, etc. 

  • Please which number sequence is for which song.

  • Send us a CD of your images or submit them via e-mail.

  • Set the scanning resolution as high as possible.

HINTS

  • It is best to not scan photos that are cut into shapes.  If you don't mind having them shown that way in your slideshow you may submit them

  • Do not crop your photos.

If you are sending photos to be scanned......

  • Number each photo in the order you would like it to appear. (Place a numbered sticky note on the back of each picture or write the number with a pencil.) 

  • If you select the Royal or Supreme package, place your photos into zip-lock bags labeled by their song.

  • Your photos will be returned to you when your project is shipped
Determine titles and captions Your slideshow will always include an opening and closing title. You may also choose to include other titles or captions over photos as well. Type up a sheet that lists photo number and caption you want with it.  Put in the appropriate zip lock bag.  For example  #005.jpg - "Let's Play Dress Up" Keep photo captions under 8 words.
